Christmas Break

I LOVE my job. If you didn't know that...now you do. If I knew how to insert hearts and sparklies and make hearts out of numbers and symbols, I would. I heart my job. And I've met some great people. And some of these great people have flattered me enough to paint for them; which is just the nicest compliment I could ever get. These are two canvases that my gal pal Amanda asked me to make....enjoy!

Makin' A List...

I have several teachers' gifts orders to fill and these two are the first I've finished, delivered, & checked off the list.
This one is going to a PreSchool teacher who loves Hello Kitty. I LOVE how girlie this one turned out.

And this one will find it's way to Algood School. Red & Black look great together...and that ribbon, still one of my favorites!

I Dream in Red & Green

There's not much exciting to blog about...I go to work, go to the craft store, come home, paint, am attempting to put up christmas stuff including the trees, and paint, go to the craft store, paint, sleep....repeat. I feel a bah humbug coming on already. But don't you worry...I'm fighting it!

'Tis the Season!!!

Ok, folks....I hate to say it, but if you haven't gotten your orders in for Christmas....it's too late. I am MAXED OUT!!! I have 43 orders to fill before Christmas & I want to be sure that they all come to the people waiting for them with the best quality I can give. Regular orders that are not needed before Christmas...bring 'em on!

It is only fitting that I post these two together. I work with Lorna and have known Julie & her family for a while and wouldn't you know they're best buds...and I just love them both!

And...if you're in need of a photographer, check out Julie's site! Might even see a familiar face or two. Can't wait to share some pics of her's with you soon! But, they're gonna be on the old Christmas card this year, so I can't ruin the surprise just yet!!

Keep checking back...with 43 orders to fill....there will be LOTS of pictures coming soon!!!

Blasts from the Past

To update on everything that's going on...three words...

Somewhat.

Controlled.

Chaos.

In the meantime, this was one of my very first pieces that I painted for my friend, Beth & her then soon to be new addition, Kelby Jane. Well, Kelby is here and is a doll! Congrats to the slightly bigger Stone Family: Roman, Beth, Sawyer & Kelby!!

NOW.....from last week's sneak peak........
The Finished Product!!

One of my fave gal pals asked me to do this for their kitchen to match their AMAZING collection of Fiesta dinnerware...
CANNOT wait to see it up on her wall!!

Really, November???

Time to start thinking of people on your Christmas shopping lists & getting those orders in!! Don't forget your kids' teachers, Sunday School teachers, gal pals, co-workers, family members....and YOURSELF!!! The "Established" canvases are always great gifts & so are anything with cutesy sayings & Scriptures. Get as creative as you want!!

I posted a pic of this one LONG ago, but it holds a special place in my heart, so I wanted to re-post it. Angela is sending me a pic of it in her home soon, and I can't wait to see it. And, it screams FALL!!!!!!

Yes, I know Halloween is "officially" over, but I got this picture in from a customer who purchased one of the several "Best Witches" canvases this year. Never imagined it hanging on the oven, but seems to work. So glad she enjoys it & LOVE getting pics with my canvases in their new homes!!
