But, as always...feel free to contact me to place your special order!

5 in 3 Nights!

Yeah, I did!

2 more "Best Witches" canvases, 1 more Candy Corn canvas, & 2 teacher gifts....whew.

This may be my favorite "teacher" one I've done so far. Loved the red & black together...but those are her school colors!! Annnd, I ADORE the ribbon I found for it!!!

I'm not sure what "Intervention" is in the school system...but I'm gonna go with something like Counseling? Either way, Mrs. Bennett asked for polka dots & said her colors were turquoise & yellow...here ya go, Mrs. Bennett!!

Have You Ever.....

I realized yesterday how little I have been home the past couple of weeks and how little I've paid attentiont to my home while I've been there.

Case in point.....Riley came over for a day almost 2 weeks ago......and I just realized yesterday one of his trucks was right there...in the middle of the kitchen...never saw it.

Yep...see that little red spot.....2 weeks...never saw it. I'm slowly but most assuredly losing my mind.

More & More for Fall!!

It's time to put all my training to use...yeah, whatever. Tomorrow is the "Run 4 Don" 5K in Gainesboro. Don Chaffin is a wonderful, God-fearing, kind hearted Christian man; an example to all. He has ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease and it has taken its toll through the years. The money raised from tomorrow's race will not be going to help with his medical expenses. Some might view that as selfish...and that is far from the man that Don Chaffin is. 60% of tomorrow's funds will go towards a scholarship fund that has been set up & the remaining 40% will go to ALS research. Over 500 people are expected in the morning...what a tremendous showing of love & support for such a giving man. Then, later tomorrow, it's time for the Locust Grove Church of Christ Fish Fry & Gospel Singing. THEN, even later is the "Cemetary Walk" through Cookeville. Let's just hope some of this weekend's plans stay more together than last weekend.

Now for a painting update....orders are coming in & I'm already behind. Wondeful way to start. Check out this simple but oh so cute 6x8 for Halloween....great for teacher gifts & Secret Sister gifts!!

God DOES INDEED laugh at your plans

Weekend turned out NOTHING like I had planned. Period.

But I take every bit of happiness from it because my dad is ok and the doctor was able to find the problem quickly & correct it right away!!! I know they sign my paychecks...but let me just say that Cookeville Regional Medical Center....you're not going to find a better hospital, from EVERY aspect of a healthcare facility. And, The Heart Center...top notch! Ever need a referral....call me, because I will sure indeed give you several!!

Dad has had his ups and downs with his health the past few years but I'm telling you, prayers are indeed answered. And just for that, we should all be so thankful!!
This is the LARGEST canvas I have done....ever....so far. It was a shower gift for a Cookeville couple getting married next weekend, obviously. I hear the bride is going to use it at their reception....that's flattering!!

Who Said Weekends Were For Relaxing???

Bible Bowl is bright & early tomorrow morning!!! I know our kids at church have worked so hard studying the book of Exodus....they will do great tomorrow!!

But first, let's stop by work to pickup all of the "several items", as the voicemail said, that I won in the Silent Auction held today. Can't wait to see the junk what all I got!! (Might need to take a truck!)

Let's throw in a Baby Shower for Beth Stone & Kelby Jane, who I know will be as gorgeous as her big brother. I hope this goes with her nursery...

NEXT, barring storms don't hinder us....let's go to the lake!!

THEN, Sunday night is our "Bible Bowl Banquet". In my head, my decorations and theme are gonna be great....but we'll just have to wait & see the final product come Sunday night. Here's a sneak peak of my theme....

WHEW!! I'll be glad to get back to work Monday so things will calm down!

ALMOST HERE!!!!

Football season, the Braves Heading to the Playoffs, the Fall Fun Fest, Crisp Air & Cool Breezes, Long Sleeve T-Shirts, Hayrides & Apple Cider.....aaahhhhhh.....

THE MOST WONDERFUL
TIME OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!

So, I'm getting in the mood now! Here are some samples! Great time to place an order for your Fall & Halloween decorating!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this one!! Cute & Fun!

I like to decorate with candy corn while Riley used to love eating candy corn almost as much as he loved anything else....now, he also just to love eating broccoli; so much so he'd eat everyone else's in his class. It's a law of nature...things change.

Ok, so the picture turned out waaaay vibrant. Yay, Sony Cyber-Shot! It's not THIS bright of orange in real life, I swear.

I'm so into paisley right now!! It's just going to pop up everywhere!!

I LOVE it when a plan comes together!!!

A great trade for some yummy cupcakes!!
So I was starting to spend too much time looking at other people's websites on their canvas painting and decided....surely, me of all people, can do this. And, here I go. I'll start posting some pics as I go. But more than anything, I really really enjoy doing it!! I'm getting better with each one & I love seeing others' reactions to them...it's the best form of compliments I can get.
This was attempt #1...not to shabby but needs some practice!
#2 - I was SOOOOO excited to do this one as a gift for my cousin Elizabeth, her husband Joe & their new addition. She is an ABSOLUTE DOLL!!!
It was just a matter of time before I did one for one of the boys....I kept it simple & HAD to do Preds colors...now, I owe Colin one.

This one I will forever be proud of because it was the first piece I "sold"!!

I was dying to do a canvas that was "fall"...so I did this one for Nate & Angela to thank them for having me down to their new home one weekend. It looks PERFECT in their kitchen!!

So as you can tell, I pretty much hit the ground running when I decided out of the blue...I think I want to paint. Like I said, I'm getting better the more I do it...at least "I" think I'm getting better. I have 2 to get ready before Saturday...and I should be good for those..one of them is making me nervous, so we'll see how that goes. And, I have the Bible Bowl Banquet to get ready for next Sunday....it's a party so that means I must be decorating!! It's going to be super cute...at least the plan in my head is super cute!
